Cubase-controlled Keyboard Lighting
Keyboardist?  Instead of a traditional RECORDING sign, how about a Cubase- controlled light for illuminating your keyboard from under your work desk?  Powered by an Arduino Leonardo microcontroller, when you press RECORD in your Cubase DAW, it illuminates your guitar in bright RED light.  When you press PLAY, it illuminates the guitar in bright GREEN light.  When the DAW is idle, it reverts back to bright WHITE light.  The kit includes a fully- assembled LED-PWR-MIDI shield that snaps right onto the Leonardo.  Just import the code sketch, solder up the LED string and MIDI connections, and the power jack, then see your room ambiance change color when you start recording!  Comes with the 3D printer .STL file to print out if you have a 3D printer or to upload to a 3D printing service.  Your studio will look SO cool!   Time to complete:  45 minutes.  Tools required:  Soldering iron, small screwdriver, electrical tape.
